Back to the blogging block!

My first 2011 blog! Sorry...I'm a loser well not really but that's what you all might say cause I have been lazy with my blogging. We had a wonderful ending in 2010 maybe that will make it on a flash back friday blog. We have been so blessed.

Recently 3 weeks ago the girls audition for a play. I was shocked because my Liliana my shy one, was the one that brought the paper home from school and asked, if she can try out. The play was the "Princess and the Pea" it was held at our local civi center. I didn't think that there would be a high trun out but 164 kids audition. Jocelyn our out going one was super excited she said she was born for this. Poor baby when we got there she was super excited when I picked her up ( I had to leave them there for 2 1/2 hours no parents allowed...excusse me! HA the kids said "bye mom see you latter" "you mean you don't care that they want me to leave!!!") sooo...I managed to keep myself busy for 2 1/2 hours when I picked them up Jocelyn was sick!!! Fever and throwing up when she got home! LOVE being a Mommy!!! No school for her the next day. They didn't get a lead part but got a part in a "Cats Pajama Party" The opening act to the main play. Either way their Dad and I acted as if they were the opening act to some big broadway play and they were the leads.

Born to be a STAR!

They made lots of friends. They had rehearsal every night for 4 hours for one week straight. It was like free babysitting to bad Dad had to work.

The friend in the middle Liliana knew from school. The other one not sure. Trust me I said SMILE about 10x's. I wonder if the parents forced her to be apart of the show to try to get her to be a little more out going.  I mean look at Liliana she is smiling so big because  I kept saying smile big, smile big.
Okay lets try this! Look excited strict a SUPER STAR POSE!!!
UMMM....OK that didn't work!!!
Role call!
"Liliana please don't beat your sister with the pillow."
"But she started it!"
Of course Jocelyn has guilt writen all over her face and then the famous words "I didn't mean it"!!!

The first of three preformances.

Break time!
These kids have had a long day. Their morning started at 10am and will end 8:30 pm.  Haha for those that noticed yes I was a getto mom and wraped their sandwhiches in foil. I couldn't find their sandwhich containers and ran out of sandwhich bags. Sorry girls don't forget to recycle.

Main performance

Last preformance of the night
I was the crazy mom that snuck a flash picture in! I had a video camera in one hand and my camera in the other and I made JT take pictures with his camera on his phone too. I can't help it.

Not only was I the crazy mom taking tons of pictures but I was a proud mom I started to cry.  I just hate they grow so fast.
Proud Mommy!

Proud Parents!
We would of had a proud Daddy picture but some one offerd to get one of all of us. Which was nice cause one of us is always missing. I make a life rule to offer to take pictures of other people and families, you know...any ways I'm rambling.

After the long day of three preformances we treated them...ok and oursleves to ice cream.

And of course we had to call all the Grandma's and Grandpa's and brag about how well they did.

Then the Proud Daddy gave the Proud Daddy talk. I'm so proud of you...you did so good...your growing up to fast, stop growing...I love you so much!!!

Okay Dad I get it I get it!!!

Final word...no Boyfriends till your 30 and I love you!!!

Well the serious talk took place across the table the sugar rush kicked in for this kid.

Maybe it got the best of both of us.
I knew I shouldn't of allowed her to finish her sisters ice cream.
We were laughing so hard, good thing that there weren't many people in McDonald's.

It was a beautiful day! These girls stolled the show in our eyes but, then again they stolled our hearts the day they were born!

Out and About!

My hubby and I have come to a point in life where we decided that we wanted to do as much as we can as a family, go as many place as our car and gas budget will take us and not limit our options as long as the pocket book will allow it.  But really we have found that there is so much to do as a family that really doesn't cost much and  priceless making memories. We took a drive up to Idaho City which isn't that far from where we live about an hour and half and not to mention a beautiful drive although I got car sick still a beautiful drive.

One thing we have found that we have become Idahoans proud to live in IDAHO along with the rest of Idaho many people are proud to call them self Idahoans.

We found lots of Antique's

The girls enjoy treasure hunting with their grandpa. The were rummaging through stuff until I heard Liliana say " I don't think we should be in here!" LOL!!! Antique pin up pictures. Dad walked back there to see what they  saw if it was bad. But really aren't compare to stuff today my goodness. Women had some class then. I was happy to know that the girls walked out and know what is ok for them to see and what isn't.

He found some Beautiful pictures of Marilyn. I'm not the only girl that caught his girl. Lol

She was Beautiful!!!

As you can see even the owner was an antique

Admiring an old Ford truck!

You can't tell what all is there I know it looks like junk but once you began to look there is tons of time passed treasures.
"One man's Junk is another man's Treasure"
