Grandpa and His Girls!

We have been very bless that my husbands parents my In Laws have been able to come out to Idaho to spend time with our girls. Our girls LOVE their Gandparents and I know they love them too, they always enjoy thier time together.

Grandpa even loves shopping!

As we reflect on days gone by, we learn that it's the shared moments and simple pleasures that matter most of all.

Boise Fair

Our first Boise Fair Experience!

Not as big as what we are use to in Cali but the same family fun!

A first for us a Pig Race with Elvis Piggly, Dolly Hogtron, Jenifer Pigston just to name a few of the highlight pig celebrities who knew how to hog up the crowd.

After the pig race our little piggies were hungry!

What is going to the Fair and not eating a Hot Dog on a stick and lemonade????

No Hot Dogs on a Stick...Pronto Pups close enough.
The Girls Loved it that's all that matters really!

We do live in Idaho and it's all about the POTATO!
There was potato this and potato that everywhere!!!

Isn't the fair all about the food?

According to my Jocelyn the food was the best part!

.50 cent Side Show...Fattest Pig! Can you say Bacon???!!!

Gross!!! Good thing hand wash set up everywhere.
Please keep your hands to yourself...And don't wipe your hands on your dress! Kids!!!

I have animal lovers!!!

Mom, will our garden grow big like this? Umm...we are lucky our garden even grew!!! hahaha we have some veggies nothing this big.

Free food if you sit and listen to a guy ramble for 2 hours about some fab pots and pans that you will have to sell your right arm for. I think they were like $2,500 for the set. I think, I can find something better to spend my money on.

The 2 girls and their Grandpa! Waiting for the chicken to finish well eating a salad.  After about 30mins we were ready to leave the show but the girls wanted to stay. So, we told them if we leave the rambling man we will get them Cotton Candy!
Candy works every time.

We got the cotton candy and we were heading to the rides and a HUGE wind storm hit us. It was the most scariest thing ever!!! The girls screamed and cried, people were running all over. I didn't get any pics because our first thought was get to a safe place with the kids. When we got to a safe place they were upset not sure... because of what happened or that dirt and tree branches were stuck in their cotton candy and we had to throw it away.
It took us an hour to get home which we live 20mins from the fair grounds. Electrical lines fell down.
Thank God we made it home safe!

The Boise Fair was an adventure for sure!
